Notice to Travellers
In view of recent geopolitical developments and persistent security risks across parts of the Middle East, the Niue government urges Niue residents travelling to the Middle East or passing through the region to Europe to be cautious due to changing conditions that may affect safety. Stay informed and take steps to protect yourself.
Note the following:

Important Tips
• Check Local Updates: Stay aware of news about unrest, protests, or security alerts in the region.
• Follow Rules: Be sure to know and follow travel restrictions or local laws in the countries you visit.
• Be Careful: Avoid crowded places, large gatherings, and anything that looks risky. Stay alert wherever you go.
• Plan Ahead:

  • Avoid booking itineraries with layovers or connections in Middle Eastern hubs (e.g., Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul, etc.).
  • Seek alternative routes through non-Middle Eastern transit points when travel is essential and pre-approved.
