Update – Water supply has returned to normal.

With weather permitting Niue Power Corporation will be scheduling a POWER SHUTDOWN to the South side of the Island, on Thursday morning this week 4th September 2025 from 8:30am to 3pm.

This shutdown is to allow NPC staff to replace 2 old distribution transformer with new ones from Talamaitoga and Hakupu.

Areas affected with this outage will be from Talamaitoga, Vaiea up to Hakupu.

NPC apologize for any inconvenience caused but need your support in allowing us to complete the task in hand.

Please treat all electricals live at all time.

Update – Water supply has returned to normal.

Please be advised that the Water Supply Team has temporarily turned off the water supply in the areas from Tapeu to Fonuakula to conduct their monthly monitoring checks. They have assured us that the process will be brief.

Scheduled Power Outage

To enable the servicing of our new generators, we plan to turn off the power supply to the whole island. We will try and carry out the works without the need to turn the power off.

However, please continue to treat all power appliances as if live at all times.
