Of the 141 eligible youth who received their first dose of the vaccine in October, 135 received their second dose on Friday last week, with three youth awaiting the second dose this week.  This will mean that 98% of eligible youth have received their 1st and 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine by the end of this week. read more…

The Niue Assembly on 3 November 2021 passed the amendment of the Building Code Act 1992 (‘amendment bill’) which repeals the old Building Code for Niue by the Building Code regulations 2021and now stands as the Building Code 2020. Further, amendments include allowing the Minister responsible to grant exemptions to requirements imposed in certain situations. Alofi, Niue – 13 October 2021 – The Government of Niue’s (GON) Cabinet met virtually with Public Health Expert Dr Collin Tukuitonga on Tuesday the 12 October 2021.
Dr Collin Tukuitonga is the Associate Dean Pacific in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland and has been instrumental with discussions and decisions regarding the current community transmission of the Delta variant in New Zealand.
