New Zealand Pacific Scholarships (NZPS)
Up to 5 New Zealand Pacific Scholarships are available to Niuean applicants (who are New Zealand citizens) for undergraduate study. This includes the Niue High School Dux Scholarship recipient. These scholarships are only for study at one of the ten eligible New Zealand education institutions located in New Zealand.

Eligibility
Applicants from Niue must meet the general eligibility criteria outlined in the New Zealand Pacific Scholarships section of this website. They are also required to meet the Niue Government eligibility and selection criteria, available from the Training and Development Unit.
Priority sectors
Finance: including fiscal management systems, tax reforms, capital investment and auditing.
Economic development: including tourism, economics, marketing, management, money and finance, resource management, infrastructure, engineering, agriculture, fisheries, forestry, information and communications technology and media.
Social development: including education, human resource planning and development, community development, youth, sports, vocational and technical training and gender.
Governance: including public policy and administration, auditing, monitoring and evaluation, social policy, social work and community development, legal systems and public sector reform.
Environment: including climate change, environmental studies and meteorology.
Taoga Niue: including Niuean language, art history, music and preservation of artefacts and archives.

New Zealand Regional Development Scholarships (NZRDS)
Up to 2 scholarships are available to Niuean applicants for undergraduate and postgraduate study.
New Zealand Regional Development Scholarships are for study at a Pacific regional institution.

Short Term Training Awards (STTA)
Short Term Training Awards provide successful applicants with vocational and skills-based training in New Zealand for a period of less than two weeks. They can include:
